These Terms and Conditions describe your use of The Cutline. By accessing or using the service, you agree to them and to our Privacy Policy.

What The Cutline is

The Cutline is currently a free, invite-only entertainment service for fantasy-football survivor leagues. It has no entry fees, prizes, wagering, or other real-money gaming.

Invitations and accounts

Use the invitation assigned to you and keep your sign-in account secure. You are responsible for activity through your account and for providing accurate team and profile information. An invitation does not create access for anyone else.

League rules and records

Each league's active rules govern lineups, locks, scoring, standings, eliminations, and corrections. The Cutline's service records are authoritative for those league operations. Provider data can be delayed, unavailable, or corrected; we may correct service records when the active rules and available evidence require it.

Fair play

Do not interfere with the service, exploit a defect, evade access controls, impersonate another person, submit abusive content, or disrupt another member's league. We may investigate and address conduct that undermines fair play or the service.

Your team and profile content

You remain responsible for the team names, display names, avatars, and other profile content you provide. You grant The Cutline a limited right to store, display, and use that content only as needed to operate and present your league.

Availability and corrections

The service depends on software, networks, and third-party football-data providers. Availability is not guaranteed. We may maintain, change, pause, or correct the service and league records when needed to keep league operations reliable and fair.

Our content

The Cutline, its branding, and service content are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. We give you a limited, personal, non-transferable, revocable license to use the service for its intended purpose. This license does not give you ownership of the service or permission to copy, modify, distribute, or commercially use it.

Third-party services

The service may rely on third-party services, including sign-in, hosting, mobile-platform, and football-data providers. Their terms and policies may also apply to your use of those services.

Suspension and account deletion

We may suspend or limit access to protect members, leagues, or the service. You can initiate account deletion in the mobile app. As described in our Privacy Policy, completed league teams, lineups, final scores, and non-identifying operational timing remain so shared league history and operations stay accurate. Disclaimers and limits

To the extent permitted by law, The Cutline is provided as available and without warranties that it will always be uninterrupted, error-free, or suitable for every purpose. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use of the service.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the service changes. The current version will be posted here with its updated date. Continued use after an update means you accept the updated terms.

Apple acknowledgement

Apple is not a party to these terms and is not a sponsor of The Cutline. The Cutline is responsible for support for the service; use of the iOS app may also be subject to the App Store's terms.
