THE CUTLINE
Privacy Policy
Last updated: September 15, 2026
The Cutline is a fantasy-football survivor league service. This policy explains the limited information we use to operate the website and mobile app.
Information we use
We use your email address and authenticated account identifier to sign you in. We store the profile details you choose to provide, such as your display name, team nickname, and avatar. We also process the league memberships, lineup selections, scores, rankings, and feedback needed to run your league.
Why we use it
We use this information to authenticate you, show only the league data you are entitled to see, save your lineup and profile, calculate league results, answer feedback, and keep the service reliable. We do not sell personal information, run advertising, or use cross-app or cross-site tracking.
Service providers
The Cutline uses Supabase for authentication and data storage, Vercel to host the web service, Expo to build and deliver the mobile app, and football-data providers to supply game and player information. These providers process information only to provide their services to The Cutline.
Diagnostics
When you choose to submit feedback, we receive the content you provide and the account context needed to investigate it. We may also receive limited technical diagnostics, such as app version and request-failure information, to diagnose reliability problems. We do not use these diagnostics for advertising or tracking.
Retention and deletion
You can delete your account in the mobile app: open your profile, choose Delete account, and confirm. We remove your profile, league memberships, notification preferences, device push endpoint, matching invitation identities, and your identity from retained league audit records, then deactivate the authenticated sign-in account and sign the device out. Completed league teams, lineups, final scores, and non-identifying operational timing remain so shared standings and league operations stay accurate. A server-only deletion record prevents an already-issued session token from rebuilding user-bound data while it expires. Commissioners must transfer each league's ownership before deletion. If the final sign-in deactivation cannot complete, the app clearly reports that it is pending rather than claiming the account was fully deleted. If you cannot access the app, use the Support page to request help.
Contact
Use the in-app Feedback screen, the Support page, or email support@thecutline.io for privacy questions or requests. Read our Terms and Conditions for the service terms.
